Obervation 2

So today I decided to go to the cafe at around 11am and I got a whole different outlook from the first time I went. There are about 8 booths and 7 out 8 were taken with people. I was guessing that it was either a break from classes or it was lunchtime. I looked over to the left and there was a group of 3 people sitting at the time, I assumed that they were friends just chatting socially or they were having lunch together talking about class seeing as it was 2 girls and 1 guy. There was a lady sitting at the table alone, she was studying but I dont see how she could have concentrated because today it was unusually louder than the 1st day i went. Once again there was only one cashier at the counter but there were two people browsing around the store.

There were only three people with laptops out so I suppose they were the only one's doing work until i kind of got up walked around and looked, come to find one person was really on facebook. i i noticed that everyone who was eating had juice, bagels, coffee or some type of fruit, There were 19 people in there with that type of food, i guess it was too early for junk (LOL) or some of them could be dieting. I noticed signs today after reading Iowa 80, I saw signs on the wall or hours and Even how they got the name "pear-a-dox" there were pears all over the place. Signs that said "don't take food away from the commons" which nobody paid any attention too.

There was one girl who kept looking at me and every time i would look up she'd look away, I wonder why she was doing that. There was one older lady who can in to buy lunch and she bought pop with her's im thinking maybe she doesnt like coffee and needs some caffinne for a jumpstart. As i look around at the room i spotted that there were surveillance cameras, i had never noticed or even thought they would have one but seeing as there are only 1 to 2 people working at a time they cant watch everything. 3 students used the vending machines instead of the store, which i noticed for myself that the machines are a few cents cheaper than the prices which is surprising

all the students were dressed in hoodies, sweaters, sweats, coats , hats and scarfs. Michigan weather is very unpredictable. I can smell a pizza that a girl was heating in the microwave smells like pepperoni but i think she left in in for too long or the microwave has something else that was burnt because there is also a burnt aroma in the air too. Last thing i notice before i left was everybody pretty much came in with the same pattern, come in put their things down, go look at the snacks to see if anything is new or something then getting started with their work or conversations. I think its just rountine habit for some of the regulars.
